Being Nostalgic...

Living In The Past

Memories come and go and before you realize it, events have long passed. It’s just like us living in a particular situation, and with the snap of your fingers, its copied and saved in our hard drives, our brain, and become memories. They come in 2 forms, good and bad ones. I have always treasured the good ones and learnt from the bad. Memories have made me the person I am today.

Trying To Remember The Good-Old Memories…..
It was like the end of last year when the seniors left for Australia. We were all saddened by the situation but we never gave up hope that we could all survive and live the very next day. Jillian was left alone to handle us for 2 long weeks. She was put in-charge to make sure every thing goes on well for the Christmas Pageant. Despite the backstabbing and gossips about each other, we didn’t fail to make Christmas an occasion to remember like the past years. Days before the seniors returned, we planned a lot of ways to surprise them at Changi Airport. We planned to make a big banner so that in a way, they would be embarrassed as there is a big ‘huha’ about their return. Joshua, Mark and I decided to dress up as security guards to make it seem as if they were really famous stars. We bought and brought Santa Claus hats to bring the spirit of Christmas to the airport, and many other things. Some others called the airport to ask for their approval of the banner and stuff.
On the day itself, we rallied at the airport with our banner and suits in the early evening. We had to wait there for quite a while, as there flight was pretty late. The hunger and boredom at the airport was excruciating. Tasia, Leanne and I went to Swensen’s on the same floor to buy ourselves an ice cream when I got a call from on of the members stationed outside the gate of the arrival hall informing me that they had landed and started exiting the plane. We rushed with our ice-creams to the other end of the level, trying to finish it. We all assembled at the side of the gate way; away from sight of the seniors. Then when they started coming out of the arrival hall, Mark, Joshua and I rushed next to them as if trying to block the public from going near them. Then, the rest all started in a way marching towards them. We also had to try to avoid them from going near the seniors. It was a very fruitful experience as we used fake mustache and the seniors couldn’t recognize us. In addition, we introduced the seniors to our latest addition to RG, Joshua Siow. I will always treasure such experiences for all the days of my life.
