Feelings... a sin?

ACuTe
Looks like I have not blogged for doggy ears! Haha... a new way to start an entry! kk.. this entry is titled 'feelings... a sin?' as i would like to express my opinion about this as i dunno wat else to talk about.... and also cos i wanna add an entry! haha... so here it begins...
Feelings, a natural range of emotions expressing itself physically to the different conditions around. However, are we all driven into a system of feelings which have been twisted through the advances in technology and the way we think? Could we be living sins? Why sins you ask... All the sins we commit all lead back from the primary source, feelings!
Pride is a feeling which many of us go through every day! How does this cos sin? Firstly, our ego can cause us to become overly happy resulting in self pride. In a case such as hmmmm.... results(for e.g.), people with alot of pride tend to show off their marks to others. When these people somehow shows off their marks to another person intentionally to someone who had not done very well, the person filled with pride has committed a sin of inhumility. This means a person had not been humble to others but being proud and overconfident. We must once again reflect on the scriptures which tells us that we mus be like Jesus, Humble! Therefore, happiness can be sinful to a certain extent.
Anger is another catalyst causing us to fall into sin. Back to the previous senario, if the person who did badly start building up anger, he could unleash a fury onto his friend by punching him or causing much harm. Fighting is the end result of anger and it is part of sin. Scriptures says," Love thy name as God has loved us". How can there be love in a fight?
Self pity is another result of sin. Picture the same scene as the senario above. After the fight the 2 people involved will definitely be full of saddness that he probably lost or badly injured a limb. So, wat can they do? Wake up and pay attention man! Why wallow over self pity when both parties could have prevent this incident from occuring. Wallowing in self pity is a sin as it is yet again as the person falling from that is thinking of just himself and no one else. Thus, thinking of just urself is definitely a sin.
There are a 1001 sins out there and mostly all or if i dare say it myself, all are possible factors leading to sin. This is possibly due to the change in the life of men of the past and now. In the past, feelings were kept more self contained than that of now. Then, it was practically quite rare to see a case of premarital sex for example which had led from a feeling of bonding or love among an unmarried couple as compared to modern day. People were more fearful of expressing feelings then. An example is the case of mary magdeline who was chased by people trying to stone her cos she had commited or expressed a feeling causing sin; premarital sex. So thus to conclude, all feelings are benefical in our lives but can also cause much harm and sin to erupt to a certain extent. Its all in a matter of controlling and seeing the consequences in expressing your feelings. So, be a man and do the right thing!
