Changes

From A Different View Point
Changes happen all the time in the world today. It may come under different strokes of changes such as physical, mental and emotional change, but we do go through it from the time we enter this world till the time we depart from it. We are all part of the grand circle of life. Therefore we all go through a form of change all the time. However, are these changes beneficial or negative in the way we carry on living?

Being a teenager, I can relate to forms of change quite easily. A form of change that is most frequent for teenagers is emotional change. Teens usually fall under this category as they have major emotional swings. They may one day be the happiest person in the world and on the next day, they feel so depressed to the point of committing suicide. An example of this change taking place, is when a teen, in a relationship, breaks up with his or her partner. Their emotions will swing from being so happy and in loved(before they broke up) to being to depressed(when they had broken up). Therefore, without this emotional change occurring in our life, we would not be given the liberty to feel and express ourselves to one another.

However, we do not only live life with only emotional changes. We also go through mental changes. Mental changes may vary from being a fighter or being a failure. A positive example is the life of an economically poor boy who is only allowed food, drink and an education. This boy is not happy for the state that he is living in, as it is worst than the life of a normal person yet he is not looking into the direction of remaining a failure. So what does he do? He fights to reach his fullest potential. The results have shown that he is one step better than the majority of the world who has things laid upon their laps instead of working hard to earn them. Thus, the economically poor boy knows the value of life and will be more hardworking in getting out of his nightmare he is living in. Without mental changes in the world, every one will be equal and the world will stagnant as there will not be an urge to be better than the rest. There will be no urge to be better and no urge to be a failure.

The end result of mental and emotional changes in life is physical change. Physical change is a change, which is quite unique as it can be visible with only the naked eye. Physical changes for, example, teenagers are due to mostly factors such as peer pressure. We may fall under this category as we are mostly influenced by the people around us; our peers. An example of this change happening among teens is when we suddenly change our fashion sense from the goofy high school graduate to a sexy cat walk model. This change happens all the time. Even the slightest change in your hair do is a form of physical change. We are all victims of this change as it is part and parcel of growing up.
Changes do occur 24-hours in our life. Without change, nothing can function. It does not have to be changes involving us alone. Mother nature is doing her job to bring about change in the life forms of the world too. Everything helps to make change. Through change, the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower were built. We make the difference in the world. However, are the changes we make positive or negative factors in the way we think, learn and do in our lives?
