The Epic Adventure!

The epic adventure of the 6 musketeers started and ended a few hours ago. It was a memory of some sort kept in a journal called the brain and will remain in it forever, i hope. K, what rubbish am i talking about again, right? Today, i woke up at 8.55am when Amy called me to tell me to bring sunglasses for her. I was jolted back to reality as i realised tt i was late. Late! Even though James/Janice's house is like a 1-2minute walk from mine, it was late!!! Initially, we planned to meet at her house to start on our quest at 9. However, due to me waking up late, we ended up leaving at 9.45am. Our mission for that very quest was to reach Orchard Road on BIKE!!! Imagine, jus thinking about it. Tiring ain't it?

So back to the story, we left at 9.45am and headed to East Coast Park so that we can head to the ECP via the pedestrain's way. At east coast park itself, a funny stuff happened. I was moving my butt on the chair for who knows why, and it landed up on the floor. And the best part is, the bike went below me b4 i landed on the ground. Meaning, the bike was infront of me and i was sitting like on the floor. It was so funny that I started laughing my guts out. No pain at all. Probably cos im used to falling on my butt when i used to blade wen i was young. haha...oh well, wen i fell, James jammed brake leading Dax and Damian to hit each other. My bicycle went kapoot. I couldn't cycle. Didn't work. Thanks to my mechanic Amy, my bicycle was fixed. Den, we continued on our journey to achieve our goal. We went onto the Benjamin Shears Bridge due to the fact that the pedestrain's path was blocked. It was really tiring to cycle on tt bridge. Den at a certain point on the bridge, we carried our bike over to the pedestrain's side where it was unblocked. Very dangerous if i may say so. I had to walk with my bike near the top of the bridge as my gears were spoilt so i couldn't move much. too tiring. Den, we went down the bridge. VERY VERY STEEP! haha... i was like holding on to my brakes most of the time den.Amy almost or did fall at some points. Next, we had to carry our bikes down a pretty long stretch of steps. Imagine the muscles built there! haha... Ok.. After which, we cycled past all the different MRT stations like Bugis, Dhouby Ghout, etc. till we reached, ORCHARD ROAD. We parked our bikes at a railing outside Takashimaya. Went in to refresh ourselves and do a lil shopping. haha... but no one ended up buying anything. Amy went to withdraw cash before we left the building.

Outside the building, there were some security guards surrounding all 6 bikes. We were shocked for a moment. We didn't noe wat to do. But amy suggested asking them what was wrong. So damian went followed by us behind. James and Dax were somewhere else at tt point in time. The security guard woman asked if that were our bikes. It was scary. Janice called James and Dax. Wen they came which was like 1-2 mins, the woman was telling us that our bikes could have been summoned and we would have had to pay 50 bucks. They were almost intending to clamp our bikes. Thank goodness we came on time and we didnt have to pay. Den, on the way back, we stopped at 711 to get some drinks. After drinking that Ribena drink empty, i felt bloated. We cycled back following the MRT railway lines. It was a much easier way home. haha... but yet dangerous cos cars were everywhere. James and Dax left wen we reached Kembagan MRT to go somewhere. Den we went to Daud's at 3smthng for lunch. Damian paid for the food. Thanks Damian! while i paid for the drinks. It was so far the most tiring and long distanced cycling yet fun activity i have ever done in my life. It didn't feel that bad. I fell asleep after dinner at 7 and jus woke up for a while at 12. haha... kk... hopefully there will be more of the Adventures of the 6 musketeers. haha... Night!
