BRAIN POWER

After my workout today, i started thinking about the topic on brain power.

We are all humans, we think differently yet we all have this one thing in common which keeps us going, our brain. Without it, we are nothing. Second in-line is our heart. But, since we are talking about the brain now, we shall focus on it.

While working out today, i was pondering on how strong or weak the brain can be. It is mostly portrayed in many movies we watch. Ranging from the latest Harry Potter, when Snape was training him from countering Voldermort from reading his mind, to Star Wars, when Anakin gave in to his weak mind to join the Dark Side. It is most of the time portrayed in these shows, however, we barely take notice of it. The brain can be as weak or as strong as you want it to be. So long you got the WILL power.

Judging from Mental Powers to Physical Strength, having mental powers is way better. The ability to react quick, to prevent smthng from happening and to counter a move. So, it struck me when i was doing my last set of sit-ups. It was hell for me. Aches and pains at every inch of muscle. I can barely play computer games well. That is how pain it is. So, i was thinking to myself, give up or have the ability to counter the pain. Then i thought to myself, Pain is only a state of mind. If we can be mentally strong, im sure we can go through alot of things without feeling pain. So, i was self-motivated to finish up my last few sit-ups to end off the 200 unsupported sit ups done for the day.

That was when the idea of Army came about. I was thinking, we should have a mental army rather than one for physical training. After all, people do put on the added weight when they finish NS and stop or slow down on their physical training. In the instance of having a mental army, we will be strong enough to counter future threats or be resilient in a battle. Physical training is no doubt good, but why lead an army with jus physical strength and barely any mental one? Every does have to be strong enough to carry another human(at max) but it is the mentality, the will, which will drive the minds of people to even think they are able to do it. Brain power, my dear friends, and we might not feel pain anymore...

I guess no human has reached tt limit yet. Though, if you do notice, in many religions, the brain power is used. Like for Hindus, when they carry the Cavatis(ignore the spelling, break the word up to understand), pins are poked into them yet they do not feel pain. Or, how about walking on fire? Those who try do not feel pain.

So, back to the main point. Pain can be overcome. Before pain comes fear of feeling pain. It too can be overcome. We used got to sit down, meditate on your biggest fear or being in a situation facing alot of pain. For christians, the pain of being cruxified. Jesus did do it for us. He was afraid initially, but he overcame it knowing that he is saving the world from sin. If someone so mighty like that can overcome it, why can't we? We make ourselves to be who we want us to be, the man in the mirror. And, the best part of it all, we can apply it to anything we want to be. Just have a goal, and shoot in the direction, ignoring and overcoming every obstacle/barrier. Be strong in WILL and MIND. For a great glory will unfold...
