Best
This entry is dedicated to my best cousin
Though we have not known each other for years,
It seems as if we knew each other for centuries.
We've seen each other through the dirtiest of battles,
And the worst of times.
I used to think having a best friend was great,
But having a best cousin is better.
Bestfriends fade with time,
Best cousins is eternal.
You saw me through the biggest downfall in my life,
When no one else really cared.
Now im a eating machine,
As compared to an out-of-order one.
You were ever-ready to be an open ear,
While someone else wasn't.
You never allowed anything to make yourself unavailable
While another did.
You turned the monster in me,
To become a lighthouse to many, again.
You turned negativity into positivity,
At the snap of a finger.
We've adopted the same interest,
The same type of girls,
The same mentality,
And we will rise above all one day.
