Moving On

Its been so long
And yet so hard
You have always been a part of me
But circumstances have changed

But you've moved on
And so have I
Though those memories,
I will cherish forever

I just can't help but believe it
Wen she is close beside me
Her hand slips into mine
I feel so innocent and helpless

I will never hurt
Nor dwell on my past, like some,
But this is present
And a future together, depends...
