My Cinderella Life

My Cinderella Life
I am like a male Cinderella
Curfew at 12midnight
Being told not to drink till not to fight
These chains of an 18-year old is not as light

Freedom is worth the wait at 21
Where i will get a piercing but not a gun
Where i can go out whenever and whatever time
Without being tied to this pillar since 1991

You see right, finding a place where there is no discrimination
Of one's talents or skills, by far.
And you question why i am rarely home,
Cos it feels like i'm mary who was stonned.

It may seem as fun,
But self-confidence is and was destroyed by a ton
Till i do not trust myself
And kill myself slowly...
