Alone?

Have you ever missed someone you barely knew?
Someone who provided you with fun and laughter,
and a shoulder to cry on,
and an arm to fill up your securities.
Just like it used to be,
Your not alone, your not alone

Have you ever loved the man who destroyed your ego
Someone who filled you with anger,
hatred and no love
Just like it used to be,
Your alone again, all alone

Have you ever kissed the beggar on the street
The one who is filled with dust, dirt, mites
Filled with negativity but yearns to live
The kind who awaits compassion more than wealth
Just like it used to be,
They are alone, just as lonely as you

one day you wake up, and realise you are the only one living and it's not a dream anymore
